CNC MACHINING
CNC milling and lathing services by SUNEX
What is CNC
A machining process that uses computerized controls to mold the shapes of products, CNC (computer numerical control) offers higher precision and the ability to construct more complex shapes than traditional machining tools. Typically, engineers start a project by using CAD (computer-aided design) to lay out their designs before running them through CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) to convert them into a program that can process parts and be read by a CNC milling or lathe machine. These parts may consist of various materials (aluminum or titanium alloy, carbon or stainless steel, copper, and plastic, among others) used to construct the molds of everyday products, cellular phone cases, etc., making CNC the perfect fit for the needs of today’s world.
